Please join us for “Runway to Degrees in Apparel, Interiors & Nutrition” on May 10, 2023! This full or half day event is to learn more about earning Bachelor of Science degrees in: Apparel Design & Merchandising, Interior Design, and/or Nutrition & Dietetics.

Your half day (10 a.m.-1:45 p.m.) will be filled with information about these exciting programs, complimentary lunch on campus, and a preview of the fully-student-run fashion show! If selecting the full day (10 a.m.-3:15 p.m.), you'll continue to learn about applying to the university, housing, and tuition assistance, and hear about the student experience from a panel of our current students in these exciting programs.

“Runway to Degrees in Apparel, Interiors, & Nutrition” is designed for high school teachers and their students, along with prospective students and their parents.

Gerontology Prospective Student Informational Sessions

Make a difference and apply now! August 1, 2023 is the deadline for admissions applications to the M.A. in Gerontology for Fall 2023. The faculty of the Gerontology Program will offer informational sessions for prospective students interested in Fall 2023 admission and learning how to serve and work with aging adults in our communities.

These Gerontology informational sessions will be offered as webinars through Zoom; they will be held on the following dates and times:

• Monday, January 30, 12-1 p.m. 

• Tuesday, February 21, 12-1 p.m. 

• Wednesday, March 15, 7-8 p.m. 

• Thursday, April 6, 7-8 p.m. 

During these informational sessions, prospective students will learn about SF State’s M.A. in Gerontology, its admission process, course offerings, degree requirements, faculty advisors and scholarship opportunities.  Faculty will be available to answer questions and advise prospective students about professional and career opportunities. Please note that completed applications will be processed on a rolling basis.
