The new Undergraduate Advising Center (UAC), located in ADM 203, is now open as the primary location for all undergraduate students seeking academic advising. Services formerly provided by the CHSS Student Resource Center are now provided through the UAC. The center serves all undergraduate students and is now home to the first-year and undeclared advising team as well as academic advisors from all of the colleges.
The UAC encourages you to meet with the center’s advisors to support your overall transition, wellness, and success at SF State. Some of the common services provided by the center include degree planning, choosing/registering for classes, major exploration, academic success strategies, and policy clarification and appeals.
The UAC offers advising appointments both in-person and via Zoom. Please see the UAC website for specific details regarding the types of services offered and how to make an appointment.
