College Advising

The Student Resource Center offers advising on General Education academic planning, transition support for first time freshman and transfers, impacted major consultation, academic probation advising, general life/support counseling, petition consultation, career prep and planning, major career exploration, graduation check and resume/cover letter help.

Please note: In accordance with University’s transition to remote learning, the SRC will not be offering face to face advising appointments for the time being. However, we will still be offering meetings via phone, Zoom video conferencing and if it is a quick question, through email. You may schedule the advising meeting by clicking the “book appointment online” button and follow the instructions. When you get to the comments section, please indicate your preference for Zoom video advising, phone or email and then your phone number or email where you can be best reached. Students who are getting their probation holds cleared must conduct Zoom video or phone advising. You will then be contacted via email with separate confirmation and instructions. Thank you for your understanding and please be safe. 3/11/2020

See Academic Advising FAQs

We are open for remote advising during the summer by appointment during regular business hours.
*Incoming Fall 2020 students will need to attend orientation prior to scheduling an appointment.

Academic Program Information for Freshmen

The following sheets provide overviews and suggested course sequences for each of the College’s majors.

The following majors are impacted, meaning there are more students wanting the major than there is capacity. Freshmen and sophomores interested in these majors should consider declaring pre-majors. This designation does not guarantee or increase your chances of acceptance into the major. It may make you eligible to receive news and updates from the department and the College regarding the program.
