“Stories and Strategies for Reclaiming our Time and Humanity in Higher Education” by Assistant Professor of Sociology Angela Fillingim

Dr. Fillingim’s talk builds on her many collaborative projects examining the practices of oppression in higher education experienced by faculty from historically marginalized communities. This talk will analyze the nexus of spirit murdering (Williams 1987) and collective strategies for resistance and reclaiming our humanity.
